Isaiah 10:23-25

²³For throughout the entire land
the Lord God of hosts will enforce
the final destruction that has been decreed.

²⁴Therefore, the Lord God of hosts says this:

O my people who dwell in Zion,
    do not be afraid of the Assyrians,
even when they beat you with a rod
    and raise their staff against you
    as the Egyptians did.
²⁵For it will be only a short time
    until my wrath will subside
    and I will direct my anger to their destruction.
